The demexp projet was nominated at the “Trophées du Libre” in the Public services / Collectivities category (”Les Trophées du Libre” is an international award for open source projects and has 6 categories)

Demexp software was voted second best software in its category (the winner is openelec, an open source complete solution for voting list management, already deployed in several towns). The jury declared that they liked the novelty of the concept and the exploratory aspect, but also considered that the project is young and that there is still no guarantee that fully secure electronic voting is possible.
